Was it because it's still within reach of beautiful Wellington, but with a slightly better climate?

Or it's beautiful nature including the unique Kapiti Island? Where only a few humans are allowed to visit each day to see the little spotted Kiwi in it's natural environment for instance?

And what about the mixture of the population? This part of the coast has a high level of creative artists and musicians. It also has nice retirement villages, ideal family places and active business and Shopping areas.

Or is it because this part of the North Island is one of the fastest growing and developing regions of New Zealand that makes places like Paraparaumu ALIVE.

I'm probably attracted to all of the above and more. I keep on exploring the area in all of it's aspects to find all answers.

You will find my fresh experiences as a fairly newcomer to the area on this site. I will mention all do's, but also the don'ts if necessary.

My goal is to give visitors a fair and honest guide. An information site with some personal reviews and comments to get the most out of visiting or living in this Active and Attractive part of New Zealand.
